15 years ago BCPP launched one of its first products – the original medicine "Corvitin".

Creation of the medicine began at the end of the twentieth century. A large team of specialists worked on its development: scientists of the Institute of Physiology. A.A. Bogomolets, Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Academy of Medical Sciences, Kiev Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P. L. Shupyk and specialists of the plant. After prolonged and thorough preclinical and clinical studies, the safety and efficacy of the medicine was confirmed.

In 2003, the medicine was first registered in Ukraine on the basis of a complete set of documents on issues of quality, safety and efficacy, and the following year, its industrial production began.

"Corvitin" is still one of the leaders in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and is in constant demand. During this period, almost 17.4 million vials of medicinal product were sold.

"In general, our research center has been working on the development of original medicine for more than 20 years, thanks to which thousands of patients have been cured in Ukraine and abroad. Currently, there are 18 new types of medicine in development, including for use in cardiology, because CVD is still one of the main causes of mortality in Ukraine. We hope that the development of high-quality and effective medicine will help Ukrainians keep their heart healthy, and in combination with emergency care and preventive steps will reduce the overall mortality rate from CVD ", – Yulia Zdarevska, CEO of BCPP.
