CLOTRIMAZOL OINTMENT gives no chance to fungal infection

        Although summer has gone and it looks likely that leave period terminated, do not forget that the best time for relaxation, a velvety period, is ongoing. Soft sunny light of south latitudes, comfortable swimming pools and saunas or simple airing along cypress alleys in Crimea… That’s delightful! However, there a problem exists, which may darken our life both in summer and in winter. This problem is fungi, which reduces to naught pleasant reminiscence of walking barefooted along soft grass or of such health-giving procedure as sauna session. Today every fifth inhabitant of the globe suffers from mycosis. Frequent occurrence of mycosis may be explained by the fact that many of them never think that they had been infected with mycosis. At first glance it looks as usual skin reddening, scaling or nail brittleness. But in fact this is mycosis. This illness is manifested by skin lesion on hands and feet resulting in skin scaling and cracking, especially between fingers (mainly between fourth and little fingers). Also mycosis may be manifested in formation on skin of burn-like bubbles, leaving small wounds after their damage. Nail plates infected with mycosis turn yellow, get compacted and deformed and, in case of neglected illness, even putrefaction process may originate. The hazard of mycosis consists in a high infection rate and exclusive vitality of fungi as their spores can exists in the status of “waiting” for a very long period. Most often people are infected by mycosis in swimming pools, saunas, when trying on footwear in shops and when the whole family uses a single towel. In case of any troubles with your skin consult with doctor and immediately start treatment. In Ukraine mycosis is one of most spread skin illnesses. Therefore, experts of the State scientific center of drugs jointly with scientists of Ukrainian scientific and research institute of dermatology and venerology have developed homemade 1% CLOTRIMASOL ointment, which is now manufactured by Borschagovsky chemical and pharmaceutical plant of Kiev city. Upon study of some foreign-made analogs of this preparation it was ascertained that fungi, which most frequently cause dermatomycosis, are insensitive to them. Then in order to widen the spectrum of the preparation effect Ukrainian pharmacologists changed ointment base. Next experimental study proved that Ukrainian 1% Clotrimasol ointment is much better than some foreign-made analogs, but it is much more effective that its foreign made analogs such as “Clotrimasol”, “Mycozolon” and ointments “Zincudan” and “Uncedine”. 1% Clotrimasol ointment belongs to the group of antifungous drugs and has a wide spectrum of effects: it is affective against dermatophytes, yeast fungi and cause antibacterial impact on staphylococci and streptococci. The method of 1% Clotrimasol ointment is very simple. Apply ointment on infected skin areas 2 or 3 times a day and rub it in. It is a good practice to preliminarily prepare warm bath with sodium carbonate and soap for better softening and disengagement of cornified mass with its following elimination. Usual treatment period is from 4 to 6 weeks. It is also important that 1% Clotrimasol ointment has neither toxic nor allergic effects on human body. Just on 5th or 6th day of its application visible reduction of itching and hyperemia are noted. On 7th to 10th day eruption, scaling and cracking almost disappear. As a rule, symptoms of this illness disappear just on 22nd day of treatment. In addition this preparation is very practicable as it has no odor and never smear wearing. So, never despair if after such admirable leave or relaxation during holidays symptoms of fungous infection will appear in you. Now you have at hand a very reliable antifungous drug. 1% Clotrimasol ointment made by Borschagovsky chemical and pharmaceutical plant of Kiev will leave no chance to any fungus!
