Trivalumen (dry extract (extractant is water) of the mixture of valerian roots (Radices Valerianae), peppermint leaves (Folia Menthe piperiate), bogbean leaves (Folia Menyanthidis trifoliatae), hop stems (Strobili lupuli) in the ratio (1:2:2:1)) - 356 mg.

TRIVALUMEN is a combination product of herbal origin, which therapeutic effect is due to the synergic action of its components. Valerian contains esters of borneol and isovaleric acid that reduce the excitability of the central nervous system, reduce stress and irritability, and demonstrate general sedative, soporific and antispasmodic effects. TRIVALUMEN stimulates appetite, improves biliary excretion, lowers the heart rate and dilates coronary blood vessels. It also has anti-inflammatory action. The components of peppermint demonstrate anaesthetic and anti-inflammatory effects, decrease nausea, improve secretion of the gastrointestinal glands and liver, increase appetite, and normalize intestinal motility.

Indications

TRIVALUMEN is used to treat:

• insomnia due to nervous and mental strain;
• neurocirculatory dystonia accompanied by tachycardia, cardialgia, and arterial hypertension;
• decreased appetite.
