Active ingredients:

1 g of ointment contains: clotrimazole 10 mg, gentamicin sulphate 1 mg, calendula thick extract 50 mg, yarrow thick extract 20 mg.

Otoderm is an effective antifungal and antibacterial agent that possesses anti-inflammatory and reparative properties. Clotrimazole (imidazole derivative) is an antifungal component of the medication that affects fungal cell membrane, by altering its permeability for amino acids, glucose, phosphates, etc., which leads to lysis of the microorganism. Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic in the composition of the medication that affects gram-positive staphylococci (including those resistant to penicillin and cephalosporin), and streptococci. It also affects some of gram-negative bacteria. Calendula extract and yarrow extract accelerate regeneration and epithelialisation of damaged tissue.

Indications

• treatment of dogs and cats with chronic and acute external otitis caused by fungi, and micro-organisms susceptible to clotrimazole and gentamicin.

ointment, Aluminium tubes, 15 g or 25 g.
