Active ingredient:

1 g of the gel contains Venorutinol - 20 mg, Indomethacin - 30 mg.

Pharmacological properties of Indovenol are due to the active substances in its composition, namely, troxerutin (venorutinol) and indomethacin Troxerutin (venorutinol) is a bioflavonoid having P-vitamin activity, a pronounced angioprotective, venotonic, anti-inflammatory, anti-oedematous, antioxidant action. It strengthens capillary walls, reduces permeability and fragility of blood vessels. It increases vessel wall elasticity, and capillary resistance to injuries, and reduces exudative inflammation in the vascular wall. Due to these properties, it reduces congestion in the veins and paravenous tissues, normalizes microcirculation and tissue trophism. Indomethacin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent. When it is applied topically, it has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-oedema and antiplatelet action, which is due to inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins and other mediators of inflammation.

Indications:

  • trophic disorders in patients with chronic venous insufficiency;
  • varicose veins accompanied by pain and swelling;
  • joint and muscle diseases (bursitis, tendonitis, myositis, synovitis);
  • traumatic haematoma.

Dosage and pharmaceutical form:

gel 40 g in a tube and a carton.
