Indications

Infiltration anesthesia when long-lasting effect is required, e.g., management of postoperative pain.

Long-lasting conduction anesthesia or epidural anaesthesia when the use of epinephrine is contraindicated, and the use of drastic muscle relaxants is unadvisable. Obstetric anesthesia.
