Riluzole / N07X X02
Riluzole - 50 mg.
RILUZOLE is a benzothiazole derivative that inhibits the release of glutamate (the primary excitatory neurotransmitter in the CNS) at the presynaptic nerve endings. RILUZOLE interferes with the neural transmission processes in the brain, which control the motor and sensory functions. BORIZOL promotes independent movement, stimulates motor functions, and temporarily delays the need for tracheotomy and mechanical ventilation in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
