Active ingredients:

5 mg or 10 mg Bisoprolol fumarate.

BIPROLOL is a potent highly beta1-selective-adrenoceptor blocking agent, lacking intrinsic stimulating and without relevant membrane stabilising activity. Bisoprolol has a cardioselectivity 1:75. It reduces the heart rate (HR) in both rest and physical exercise conditions, decreasing cardiac output and slightly increasing general peripheral vascular resistance. It slows down atrioventricular conduction and prolongs the AV node refraction time.

Indications

• arterial hypertension;
• stable chronic angina;
• stable chronic heart failure with reduced systolic left ventricular function in addition to ACE inhibitors, and diuretics, and optionally cardiac glycosides.

Dosage and pharmaceutical form:

tablets 5 mg or 10 mg, 10 tablets in blister, 3 blisters in package; 60 tablets in container and package; 90 tablets in container and package.
