Albendazole Albendazole / QP52A C11
Albendazole

Albendazole / QP52A C11

Active ingredients:

1 ml of suspension contains 100 mg of albendazole.

Mechanism of action of albendazole is associated with inhibition of tubulin protein synthesis and fumarate reductase activity. It causes a chain of complex impairments of biochemical processes, leading to the inhibition of the protein synthesis and selective and irreversible inhibition of glucose uptake. This results in depletion of glycogen stores, reduced formation of adenosine triphosphate, disruption of metabolic pathways, and ultimately parasitic death.

Indications

  • it is used for the anthelminthic treatment of bovine animals and sheep in case of pest infestation by such parasites as nematodes, some E-species of cestodes and trematodes.

Dosage and pharmaceutical form:

oral suspension 10%, plastic vials / bottles, 200 ml or 1000 ml.
